Here’s everything you need to know about staying at H Sovereign Bali in Indonesia!
We’re in Bali for the next month for a digital nomad retreat with an amazing company, PACK. But we decided to land in Bali 2 nights before we were supposed to meet our group so we needed a hotel (because we could not pass up the $600 flights we found! 😱). We wanted to check out some of the more luxurious (and super affordable – of course 😉) hotels around Tuban and Kuta. These areas are located right by the airport and are more touristy so they have beautiful beaches and plenty of bars and restaurants.
We decided to stay at the H Sovereign Bali and were immediately blown away by its beauty the second we stumbled into the lobby in the middle of the night. It’s a boutique hotel that celebrates taking contemporary elegance and traditional tropical architecture to the next level. It was created for both business and pleasure and literally, has something for everyone.
It’s only a 5-minute drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport (you could even walk to the airport it’s so close!) so it’s the perfect hotel to stay at if you have a late night arrival or departure and don’t want to travel far. H Sovereign Bali also offers airport shuttle service for an extra charge.
We actually landed at 12:30 am in Bali after a 39 hour trip from Miami so it was extremely nice to have someone pick us up from the airport, check in easily, and head straight to our room in a matter of 15 minutes. The whole staff was so friendly and amazing too! Always offering to help and make our stay as comfortable and incredible as humanly possible.
H Sovereign Bali Info:
All the rooms are super modern and come with amenities to make you feel SO comfortable. Seriously guys! We were exhausted when we got there and immediately jumped into the giant waterfall shower and knocked out on our giant, comfy king size bed.
The room also had a hairdryer (which is NOT common to find here in Southeast Asia), flat screen TV, free toiletries, and cute slippers. They have a few different types of rooms available all beautiful in their own way and listed here from the most affordable to the most luxurious: Deluxe, Premier, Club Premier, Junior Suite, and Executive Suite.
They also have 6 meeting rooms you can rent out for business or weddings.
The rooftop pool is absolutely stunning and something I was really looking forward to laying in all day. The whole pool area had couches, tables, a bar area, and lounge chairs that were actually in the water.
It’s the perfect place to soak up some sun and watch the airplanes take off and land. The sunset and sunrise were UNREAL and the happy hour was my favorite part, of course! From 5 pm – 8 pm every night you can sip on some 2-for-1 cocktails while lounging in the pool and pretending you’re a millionaire.
The Avalon Spa is located right next to the pool and has so much to offer. They have a variety of different treatments you can get done. Their absolute best deal is a 60-minute massage for 199K IDR (about $14.70 USD). The types of massages included in this deal are the Traditional Balinese Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, and the Sole & Palm Massage.
It’s open every day from 9 am – 2 pm. The spa also has a sauna, a small gym and a yoga room where they have yoga classes every Monday and Friday at 6 am for 150K IDR (about $11.10 USD).
This restaurant is located right inside H Sovereign Bali and is open all day. It serves international foods as well as authentic Indonesian cuisine. This is also where they have the breakfast buffet every morning.
It costs 115K IDR (about $8.50 USD) per person and it’s open from 6:30am-10:30 am every day. Lunch is served from 11am – 6pm and dinner from 6pm – 11pm. They have both outdoor and indoor seating.
This is a beautiful little Japanese restaurant with amazing food and a full bar. They’re open from 11 am – 11 pm and offer regular seating as well as traditional Japanese tables where you can sit on the floor.
Owl Stone Cafe & Bakery:
Looking for the perfect cafe in Tuban? Well, this is it! This little cafe located right inside H Sovereign Bali has everything from gelato, to sandwiches, and tons of different delicious (and adorable) coffees.
We had the signature coffee which was decorated to look like an owl! SO cute and extremely delicious. They’re open from 6 am – 10 pm every day.
H Sovereign Bali was more beautiful and amazing than we imagined and it’s also so affordable, you just can’t pass it up! My first 2 days in Bali were perfect because of this amazing hotel. I definitely recommended it if you’re staying in the Kuta/Tuban area.
